Abhayaas ek Prayaas is a prayaas (effort) of group of academicians, intellectuals, professionals who are experts in different fields like History, Music, Painting, Theatre, Heritage Management, Media Management, Yoga and Naturopathy who wants to give education, skills and healthy environment to generation next.

He holds an M.Phil. in History from Madurai Kamraj University and two Master’s degrees in Modern Indian History and Mass Communication from the University of Delhi and Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, respectively, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Hindi Print Journalism from YMCA. With over 17 years of extensive professional and research experience, he has been associated with several premier national and international institutions, including Doordarshan, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the National Archives of India, and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA). His professional engagements also include work with the Airport Authority of India, University of Delhi, and Claremont Lincoln University, California, and he has served as Guest Faculty at Tecnia, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Over the course of his career, he has handled diverse assignments involving research and programme production, content analysis, media monitoring of television broadcasts, and the preparation of reference media and structured documentation systems, along with the arrangement, description, and long-term management of records and archival collections. He has also worked as Project Manager at the National Archives of India under the project “Digitization and Quality Check”, where he was responsible for supervising digitization workflows, ensuring quality control, and adherence to archival standards. He is currently working as a Domain Expert with the Ministry of Ayush, where he is actively involved in the setting up, development, and coordination of the Ministry’s Archives and in the conceptualization, organization, and implementation of the Ayush Information Hub, contributing to systematic knowledge management, preservation, and access to records related to India’s traditional systems of medicine. In his leisure time, he enjoys engaging in poetry.
He is a B.Ed from University of Delhi and holds two masters degree in Medieval Indian History and Sociology from the University of Delhi and Chaudhary Charan Singh University. He has been involved in extensive research work for organizations such as SCERT, Central Institute of Education, Directorate of Education and National Archives of India over a period of 12 years. She is an artist based in New Delhi. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of Delhi and an MA in Visual Arts from School of Culture and Creative Expressions, Ambedkar University Delhi. As an artist, her practice weaves her experiences and observations into narratives using some of the popular textile crafts. She was awarded with a scholarship by Ministry of Culture and Education, Indonesia to study Traditional Visual Art Practices in Bali, Indonesia.

He is a versatile singer, performer and scholar who holds a Masters Degree in Indian Classical Vocal from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya. Alongside formal education, he is learning music in Guru-Shishya Parampara from Dilli Gharana. He was in a team of Sangam Music Mobile Application team under the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts(Ministry of Culture). Shriyansh has performed in National and International platforms, commissioned by UNESCO and others. He has been associated with All India Radio for Ghazal genre since 2012. He was first runner up in Sangam Kala Group 'Sur Tarang' 2017 and awarded by Mr.Sonu Nigam.
He is a Ph.D. in History from JNU. He specializes in Warfare, weapons in South Asia, migration of weapon-makers, weapons and weapon making technologies, archival research. In this quest he presented many research papers in National and International seminars. He worked as Research Assistant on the project of British Academy. His work experience in the field of Archives is also remarkable. He worked for several professional organisations such as, “Multi-Volume Documentation project of Rashtrapati Bhawan” sponsored by IGNCA and Sahapedia. Worked as Consultant Archivist in Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, and then worked with Centre for the Study of Developing Societies and in National Archives of India.

She Named after a Raga from the Indian Classical Music, Charukeshi Mathur holds a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in History from the University of Delhi. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Art History from the National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology. Her specialisation deals with photography as a medium of art. She interned at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, where she worked on the archival project ‘National Cultural Audio-Visual Archives’ funded by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. She then worked extensively as a Research Assistant in the Department of History of Art, National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology. During this time, she worked on the Department’s publications, and other research projects. She has been involved in multiple international conferences in various capacities. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor (visiting faculty) in the College of Art, University of Delhi, where she teaches Aesthetics to the students in their final year of BFA.
